Hello! I’m Jess — the artist behind Petal & Lark Watercolor Co. I create watercolor art inspired by stained glass and mosaics, with a focus on color, shape, and texture. My goal is to create pieces that feel fresh, playful, and timeless.

The name Petal & Lark reflects two of my favorite subjects: botanicals and animals. I also love that lark carries a secondary meaning — a playful adventure — which perfectly captures how I approach both art and creativity. Places I’ve traveled and loved also tend to find their way into my art too.

I hold a BA in Art Education and now live in Switzerland with my husband and kids. I continue to find inspiration in nature and everyday life.
